I'm not sure why I didn't post on my actual birthday which was yesterday, but perhaps I was too busy stuffing my face full of turkey and dressing. In any case, I'm now officially 25 years old and to be honest I don't really care. Everyone at work keeps asking how I "feel" about being 25 and one of my co workers freaked out earlier this year when she turned 25 and the truth of the matter is that it doesn't really affect me all that much. I did have a good birthday though, got to eat my favorite food (stuffing covered in gravy and cooked carrots) and I got cool prezzies from my family which is always rocking and lets face it, I'm a mamma's girl so it was nice to be able to just sit around with my family when I haven't seen them in ages. The evening of my birthday was a slight downer when I finally talked to the guy I had been seeing and was not talking to. We worked things out (sort of) but we're still not talking for a while........."the reset button" whatever that means.......oh well, it's probably for the best. I still had a good birthday, I mean come on, I got a GNOME for christ's sake! How could my birthday not be perfect?!?! Well, Happy Friday and thank god for Paid Time Off. Booyah!
