Universal My Ass

So, this year santa blessed me with what I've wanted for years and never had the motivation to drop down money for. A cd player for my car. Not too shabby might I add, removable faceplate and all and with free installation (Meaning I read directions and hold screws for my dad and then point out when he's doing everything all fucked up) good times. Santa also bought me the "universal" bracket to hold my lovely cd player in place so that it would fit with my "existing" set up. I drive a 1989 Camry folks, the "existing" setup is crap. And as such the "universal" bracket did not work as planned. Don't worry this story has a happy ending, I am now the owner of my very own cd player for my trashy 1989 camry, but it was not easy. there was much screwing and unscrewing. Much plastic snapping and "Oh SHIT" exchanged. And at one point there was actual shaving of plastic to "modify" the "existing" setup. Ah the joy of consumerism...........

The good news?

Neither me nor my father were electrocuted. Bonus!
