Just to remind us all that we were kids once...

So, I've jetted to my parents for the weekend (or part of it seeing as how I didn't hardly bring any clothes and unless I wanna walk around naked while mine are in the laundry I will run out soon) and when I went up to bed to my old room laying on my dresser was a book of "My School Memories" I haven't even looked at this thing since High School probably and I was intrigued, so I busted it open. What did I find? Your typical elementary school report cards, etc. BUT I also found something much too cute not to laugh OUT LOUD at. I'm hoping I didn't wake anyone, it was 1 am at the time.......... Apparently somewhere around October in the 2nd grade we were to write a story about Halloween. Boy did I. I just had to share folks to remind us all that we were once children. I think we forget all too often. I give you all...........

"The Scarecrow Who Came Alive"

Twase the night of halloween. The Scarecrow stood in the corn. Vampire wemen were haunting houses. Werewolfs were howeling in the moon light. A spider bit the scarecrow. He started to walk and talk. A vanpire scared him he stood still in feer. then he fell apart. THE END!

I have copied it EXACTLY as it was written. Typos and all. At this point, some of you are thinking i'm a nutcase or just plain bored. That *could* be the case, but I'm pretty sure I was just so entertained I had to share.

And just so you all can share in the joy that once was GIANT RULED PAPER, I actually took a picture of it:
