I may be sick, but I'm not stupid

I came home early today because I feel like total crap. Flipping through channels I came upon a little "Hannity and Colmes-ish" opinion show with members of some group called the "ACLJ". They were discussing court cases surrounding abortion and I got really interested as to what the "ACLJ" really is. American Center for Law and Justice. Sounds pretty good right? Sounds pretty neutral, protecting "Justice". Not quite. On thier website, the "ACLJ" proclaims:

'Through our work in the courts and the legislative arena, the ACLJ is dedicated to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms.'

uh huh, religious freedoms. But what religious freedoms? I'll tell you what religious freedoms. Christian freedoms. Please let me take this moment to say that I am not anti-christian. I am anti any national group that claims to protect any freedoms in an effort to sugar coat a specific agenda. Upon further inspection on this page it turns out that this show "ACLJ this week" is shown on the following channels:

TBN (TBN is the world’s largest religious network and America’s most watched faith channel. TBN offers 24 hours of commercial-free inspirational programming that appeal to people in a wide variety of Protestant, Catholic and Messianic Jewish denominations.)

FamilyNet (owned and operated by the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention)

iLifetv (Inspirational Life Television (i-Lifetv) is a 24 hour-a-day digital cable network - designed to bring unique, fresh and distinct inspirational programming to your world.) and it's affiliates: Inspiration Network International and INSP

The only one of these channels that is REMOTELY neutral in regards to a religious affiliation is iLifetv. The other two are not shy about the fact that they are christian channels, or at least run by christian companies. I have no problem with a show like this. WATCH IT! I did! I have a problem with the underlying agenda in an otherwise innocuous package. To top it all of of course they were all wearing pinstripe suits and silk ties while they use inflammatory language like "Abortion Agenda" and "Pro-Abortion Lawyers". These terms are just simply not true. These are terms thought up by the religious right and used to put a negative spin on an opinion other than theirs.
And they think we're the immoral ones.......
