I'm not entirely sure what possesses a person to steal cars. It really is beyond my grasp. Perhaps I just have too much of a conscience and would think about those poor people and how they are going to get to work the next day or perhaps it's just that I've now had my car stolen TWICE since I moved here and I know EXACTLY how it feels so I would NEVER FUCKING DO IT! OK, I think I'm ok now, I had to get that out. Yes folks, the car was stolen.....again. I know that none of you know about the first time, but trust me it did not make for a happy HST. I rode the shuttle from my office building to the parking lot where I park my car (where EVERYONE who works downtown parks their cars) and lo and behold my car was NOWHERE to be found.
exciting! titillating! vomit-inducing.
Ok, so I didn't really puke, but I felt pretty pissed about it. I mean come on! I don't even care if you steal the car, drive it around and conduct lewd public acts in it, JUST BRING IT BACK so I can drive to work tomorrow! CHRIST. I will spare you all the boring police/insurance/rental car details and just say that Allstate insurance takes MOTHER-EFFING good care of me and I highly recommend them, this being the second time and all.
I've been pretty happy for a week or two because I went on a date with a friend I went to college with but recently reconnected with. He is nerdy and funny and SOOOO smart and he likes Grey's Anatomy and giggles everytime I say something about being a "grade a crier". We're taking it "very slow" which is good for me and for him and for all parties involved I'm sure. We are going to see The Davinci Code this weekend. Things are looking good. Now, of course this couldn't just happen, all slow like with no excess interference, NOPE. Let me proclaim before I say this next piece:
Please let me say that I am NOT bitching about having 2 men interested in me that I enjoy time with.
Ok, that being said, another boy has been thrown in and that gives me a lot of anxiety. I'm no good at dating as it stands and then if you put in there 2 men that are both really nice and fun, and one that just happens to be more quick moving about getting the show on the road, well I just go into overload. I really really like Nerdy Dude and am really appreciating how slow things are moving. On the other hand, Security Boy has been pursuing me like mad for months and took me out for ice cream last night to soothe my broken heart about my car and it basically turned into a WONDERFUL date. So, don't misunderstand me, I had a great time with a great guy that is a pretty damn good kisser. The only problem being that I don't want to break anyone's heart, and if things progress slowly with Nerdy Dude, I can see them getting slowly serious. Security Boy? I discovered a whole new side of his personality last night and I have to say that I really like it....so at the moment I'm torn. But I got peppermint ice cream out of the deal and a kiss in the rain on the river. So despite the lack of car...............
I'm a lucky girl.

Some girls have ALL the problems... two boys...
;)
Oh shut up lulu, you know what I'm trying to say. and besides, talk about problems, MY CAR WAS STOLEN! sheesh.
Car... two boys.
Two boys... car.
OK, fine, I see where you might have the teeniest bit of bad luck. :)
I would suggest to everyone out there...Don't buy an OlDer model Camry because they are easy to steal according to the police. HST handled this episode of "My Car Is Fuckin Gone" better than the first time. Kudos!
Damn, that blows. Well, the car stuff. The boy stuff is kind of cool.
That sounds aweseom HST. It can be a little stressful though. . . breaking hearts is hard to do. All I say is - if you're going to pick one, they have to have the following:
1) Sex appeal - you have to want to do them/be attracted to them.
2) An easy going sense of humor.
3) A kind heart - you have to feel like they want to take care of you. They should be willing to go the extra mile.
4) Stay away from a bad temper. See how he reacts to frustrating situations - (i.e: waiting in lines for a while, bad service at a restaurant, or constant but not purposeful change of plans) If he starts bitching or moanin or whining about everything - stay away from him. Eventually it causes major problems.
5) make sure he has a good job, and isn't going to be cheap with you.
And that's about it. From all that - you should have no problem deciding who you'd be more compatible with :)
Thanks for the advice frankie!:) You're back! I missed you!
