I have this on my ankle right now:
I'm pretty sure that I got bitten by a Wolf Spider. (I'm choosing NOT to link pictures of spiders in this post because it was bad enough waking up with a spider on me the other morning, I don't need to relive his tiny little ferocious face.) And this is my other leg:
I went to the Urgent Care today, because I'm going out of town tomorrow and I really don't want my leg getting gangrene or something while I'm gone. Call me selfish.........The doctor informed me that it looked "not bad" at the moment. Uh....I disagree? Anyway he told me to put heat on it to get circulation going and prescribed some topical ointment that he inforned me is only different from Neosporin because it actually goes INTO your skin where neosporin just makes a barrier on the top of your skin to keep out infection but doesn't penetrate to kill existing infection. Uh....See I've been misled for years. YEARS! Because my normal pharmacy was closed, the doctor at the Urgent Care told me he'd call in my prescription to a pharmacy a little farther up the hill (about 25 blocks) and so I drove all the way up there, waited in line and the office NEVER CALLED IT IN. By the time the pharmacist called the Urgent Care back...........they were closed. Of course. So I left, sans ointment. I have a heatpack on my ankle and I'm going to go out on a wing and a prayer and use the good old Neosporin. I gotta say I'm irritated at the whole "no ointment" business but of course in my manner I shall try to take it all with a wink and a smile.

Yikes. Must be a day for spider bites. Miles has one on his arm.
Fuckin creapy man. I hate the S word so much i refuse to say the S word!
Okay, NOW I'M PISSED because one of my kids didn't get the medication she needed and I had to read it in this blog. Oh well, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger (or shorter, or uglier, or soemthing). Yuke Spiders. I stomp the hell out of them whenever I can.
Ouch! Hopefully the heat will force the skin to absorb the Neosporin.
I've got my fingers crossed for you.
Yeah, so I went and looked up wolf spider pictures. I'm now convinced that the giant spider from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets almost succeeded in eating you.
I hate you for putting that image in my head.
ASS.
