Oh Really?

Ok. I think by now any of you that read this blog with any regularity know that I am semi-obsessed with The Fark. It's all Will's fault, just to set the record straight (Hey Will, where are you these days anyway?) The Fark will frequently have photoshop competitions and because I was a graphic design minor in college (and an overall design geek in real life) I like to check them out and see what kind of cool stuff people are doing with photoshop and such. You may also know that I frequent Worth1000 and check out their photoshop contests on about a daily basis. And yes, I manage to get some work done in there. Moving on...

I got roughly 2.25 hours of sleep last night. Don't feel sorry for me. It was my own damn fault, but I don't regret it. I was on the phone with Theology Guy. We talked for 5 hours. 5 HOURS!!! I don't know if I've ever talked to ANYONE for 5 hours straight. And that includes my own SISTER. Suffice it to say I'm EFFING tired. I'm attempting to keep myself awake by scanning The Fark and checking out anything and everything I can get my hands on. I came upon this photoshop contest and one of the results sent me over the edge. It's a good thing I have a student in class cause if she hadn't been here to force my use of restraint, I would have been at my desk, cracking up, to NO ONE at all.

See, in my mind, ORLY is a brand of nail polish. I had briefly, very briefly seen something on this whole "O RLY?" phenomenon and to be honest had NO idea about the whole Snow Owl "O RLY?" thing. In any case, whether I knew about the snow owl or not; that picture fucking cracked me up. Especially given the use of my least favorite new slang item: LOL. It could be lack of sleep, but I could really care less.
