Karma Karma Karma Karma Karma Chameleon

This weekend I smashed more things into 2.5 days that I ever thought possible. (actually I'm sure I've done more in 2.5 days before it just felt REALLY busy)

Friday:

  • End class early because my ONE student is giving me a headache.
  • Go home and fall asleep on couch instead of packing because I had 2.25 hours of sleep.
  • Realize that if I don't get on the road I'm going to be late to see "The Wizard of Oz" with friends back in my hometown.
  • Throw a bunch of shit into a bag and jump in the car.
  • Drive 2 hours to my Parent's house.
  • Go see "The Wizard of Oz" at the Community College back home, and make fun of it the whole time.
  • Head to Applebee's for some late night snackage and chatty time with the Gay Boys.

Saturday:

  • Wake up amazingly early for a weekend at my parent's.
  • Head down to the park for the annual art show with my mother.
  • Buy earrings and soap and avoid people I haven't talked to in years for a reason.
  • Get home in just enough time to get ready for a wedding.
  • Cry at wedding and look forward to the open bar.
  • Flirt with Theology Guy via text message during entire reception.
(Looked way HOT at the wedding BTW, here is proof):

  • Had slightly awkward encounter with a groomsman that I briefly shared a romantic interlude with a while back.
  • Got over the awkward moment and danced our asses off.
  • After a few hours of dancing, looked more like a sweaty freak:

  • Hit a local bar after the wedding. Saw more people I haven't talked to in years for a reason.
  • Reminded myself to never go back to that bar when I'm visiting. EVER.

Sunday:

  • Woke up hungover. Awesome.
  • Breakfast with High School best friend and his family.
  • Held the freakin cutest little baby over pancakes.
  • Lunch with the grandparents, parents and aunt and uncle from the east coast.
  • Hung out at the grandparent's house and caught up with the aunt and uncle.
  • A little shopping and some coffee with Mom.
  • Stop for a burger and bathroom on the way home and nearly kill the freaks working behind the counter.
  • Arrive home and pass out from exhaustion.

I'm sure there are some of you that would call shenanigans on me and say that wasn't a busy weekend at all compared to yours, but I don't care. It was really nice to get away from here for a weekend. Seeing some folks I haven't seen in a long time and spending time with the family. It's always nice to be around people that love you no matter what.

I love it when you post pics.

And your weekend WAS busy. Screw the naysayers.

It was busy when compared to mine. Sounds like a lot of fun, even if it was exhausting.

The last sentence of your blog makes me think of the CHEERS theme song.

Why you gotta be so hot? I don't think I can allow to be my sister if you continue to be hotter than me so tone it down a bit eh?

By the way that green top or dress looks awesome and I can only see the top of it.
