This week on Postsecret someone submitted a secret about picking up notes they find on the ground and reading them. There was an email response to check out a website that deals only in found notes, pictures, and objects. Found Magazine is incredible. All of those things that you either pick up and read and then throw back down or you completely ignore are being picked up by other people and submitted for all to see. Go check it out. Oh, that's oddly sadly sweet.
Sweet, because you can tell the boy likes her and is shy and new to the whole girl thing.
Sad, because you know he was squished like a bug by her, which has probably led, or will lead, to a lifetime of cynicsm
I prefer to think that he wrote it but was too shy to give it to her, but they are still together. Because I am pollyanna at heart.
I love finding notes on the ground but I never find anything interesting. It's usually someone's grocery list or some kid's homework.
