Upon request I am posting a poem that I wrote ages ago and recently found while cleaning some things off my hard drive. Enjoy....
Or don't. See if I care.
The Great Question
Vitamin D graces my face in golden rays,
And as I sit, contemplating the clouds I realize my existence is fleeting.
Why not enjoy it?
So I take a handful of grass and stuff it in my mouth.
And as I taste the sickeningly bitter chlorophyll across my tongue,
I gag.
But always glad I tried for I might have never known the bitterness of the blades.
The same shocking thought sweeps over me, a moment later,
"Fleeting…"
and impulsively I jump, not knowing where I’m going or how I’m getting there.
However I’m glad,
for I tried something new and I’ve experienced all there is to experience….
Without fear.

Nice. The absurdity makes for a strong image.
Is this autobiographical? Did you eat grass for your art?
It's so long ago i can't remember now. Although thinking back to the me I was..............sure I probably did eat grass.
