So, it seems that whomever we have been pirating wireless internet from has figured it out because I can't get online at home on my laptop at all..........I almost cried last night, but I got over it and now I'm on the hunt for affordable (HA!) Internet options. Both my roommate and I have wiress modems which of course points us towards wireless internet but DAMNIT if it isn't expensive, and we can hardly pay our rent!
Well Shit.
Oh, and yes I realize half of you out there hate me on principal that I was stealing it in the first place. I have one thing to say to you. SUCK IT.

Stealing cable or internet, in any form, is the American way and must be accepted by all.
...Oh beautiful for spacious skies. For amber waves of grain... hmmm hmmm, hmm hm, hmm hmmmmm hm hm...
Is it an apartment building? I suggest going to a couple neighbors and asking them if they have the wireless. If they do, ask them if they'll split cost with you and your roomie to share their feed.
What's the worst that can happen? They say no?
Good Plan, don't think I hadn't thought of it. I actually live in a house, in a little valley so it's hard to get very many wireless connections to steal from. I'm wondering if there's some sort of antenna (sp?) that one can buy so I could pick them up from farther away.
Oh and Thank you for supporting my piracy, I don't feel so alone.
There are antennas you can buy to boost your wireless reception, yes indeed.
Why would I hate you? Stealing wireless is a victimless crime, like punching someone in the dark.
I'd steal it if I could!
Relax HST...
I havent met anyone who would not steal free internet connection...one of my friends even had a couple of connections he could choose to steal from. He kept switching between them until i think both went away!
Victimless crime? Sort of like running over a dog no one wanted anyway? I'm skipping straight over the antenna and just paying for wireless.......
