Ok, so this guy my roommate is seeing is originally from California and just moved here to Washington. He apparently "doesn't get" the Drunk Dial. Please, there has to be some of you out there in Wisconsin, California, DC, Pennsylvania, AnyOtherStateILeftOut that has heard of the Drunk Dial. This isn't just an Eastern Washington thing is it? Just for clarification, this is what a Drunk Dial is:
*You get hammered
*You call various people, usually including siblings, best friends living far away and Ex-boyfriends
*You tell them all kinds of things including how drunk you are and how much you love/miss/hate/wanna fuck them.
*You forget it even happened let alone what you said when you wake up in the morning
See now, at first I thought perhaps this just went by some other term in other parts of the country, and maybe it was just a language barrier. But he honestly does not get it. He understands the concept but has never done it, nor has had it done to him. How is this possible?!
Someone out there tell me I'm not crazy. 'Cause if this is the only place Drunk Dial's happen....I ain't NEVER movin'.

Please...drunk dials?? I had two of them this weekend. Don't remember a thing.
However, here is part of the conversation (as noted byt hubby):
"This is your best friend's wife. I can't believe you didn't even call to wish me a happy birthday, bitch!"
We totally have them over here in England! A friend at work told me a lovely story last week about a drunk dial.
Drunk dials are universal. I'm a little jealous that I've never had one/done one.
I've never done a drunk dial, but I have pounded on someone's door and yelled for them at 12:30 in the morning.
Oh silly silly joe.....You should not have said that. Come july you WILL be party to a drunk dial.
I want someone to drunk dial me, too.
