Just when you thought you'd heard everything....

I have had some very strong reactions to This Post. And first of all let me say, thank you. I appreciate that somewhere out there in cyberspace there are people that either feel the same or have no idea how I'm feeling but like me enough through a wireless modem to want me to be happy. I appreciate that.

Well, on Friday night Security Boy came over to meet my sister and her husband who were in town from England. (I didn't think that the decision to step back a little should prevent some of the most important people in my life from meeting) When I called him that day he acted a little strange and said he wanted to talk to me about something;I wasn't sure what was going on with him. We had a good evening, watched some tv and all that and at one point I went to sit down on the couch and he put his arm around me, pulled me in close and said "this is what I wanted to talk to you about." When I went downstairs to change my clothes to go to dinner, he followed me and let me know that: "yes, there are things I need to think about and yes there may be days that I need some time alone and yes I have some big decisions to make; but I cannot let something as good as you go. I would be devastated if some other guy came and snapped you up while I'm figuring out how to be the best man I can to you." The rest of the weekend was wonderful! I will post about my doozy of a sunburn (WITH PICTURES!) when I return from my business trip.....

So, thank you all for your nice thoughts. Things are good.

Ok, how I'm more like 80% "wise choice" / 20% "Wow, that's sad." You're toying with my emotions, I know it.

heh.

Joe: I'm sorry to toy with your emotions, but I'm glad it went the way it did, made us both realize how we really feel about each other.

EvilChem: I think it's more like he realized a good thing when he had it. I've had the "cake and eat it too" boys, MANY of them, and he's definately not one of them.

Yay! He's cute . . .. and smart.

He's a keeper, and so are you.

I wish you both the best. Just take a step back and remember - life is a long journey. There is no need to rush :)

Muah!
